During the proceedings, his counsel informed Additional Sessions Judge Deepti Devesh that the accused would await the Delhi Police’s chargesheet before deciding on the next legal steps.

In his initial bail plea, Mr. Saraswati had claimed that the allegations were made by “tutored” complainants and argued that he was targeted for enforcing strict discipline at the institute.

Several witnesses joined the proceedings, which were conducted in camera, ensuring privacy due to the sensitive nature of the case.

Next Steps

The Delhi Police are expected to file the chargesheet, which will detail the evidence against the accused. Following this, legal proceedings are likely to continue in court. The case has attracted attention due to the number of complainants and the profile of the accused, highlighting ongoing concerns about safety and accountability in educational institutions.
