Man Arrested in Delhi for Installing Hidden Camera at TATA Electronics Women’s Hostel
Krishnagiri/Delhi, November 8, 2025 — A 29-year-old man from Punjab, identified as Ravi Prathap Singh, has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly planting a hidden camera inside the women’s hostel of TATA Electronics in Krishnagiri district.
The co-accused in the case was apprehended after the matter came to light, prompting a swift investigation by local authorities. The Krishnagiri district police brought Singh from Delhi to Krishnagiri on Friday for further questioning.
Superintendent of Police P. Thangadurai told reporters that the accused is currently being interrogated and will be produced before the jurisdictional magistrate for remand. Singh’s arrest follows heightened concern over privacy violations in workplaces and hostels.
Officials confirmed that previous reports had erroneously named the accused as Rajvir Singh. Investigations are ongoing to determine if others were involved in the incident.
