Nitish Kumar Urges Biharis to Back NDA, Highlights State’s Transformation Since 2005

In a video message released on Saturday via the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) X account, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appealed to voters to support the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming elections.
Reflecting on Bihar’s situation before 2005, Kumar said the state had long suffered from neglect and social stigma. “Being called a ‘Bihari’ was once considered an insult,” he said. “Through consistent efforts and development work, we have transformed Bihar, and now being a Bihari is a matter of pride.”
The Chief Minister credited both his government and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Bihar’s recent progress. He emphasized that the NDA has been committed to the state’s growth and all-round development.
Kumar urged citizens to continue the development journey by re-electing the NDA. “You have entrusted us with four opportunities to serve. Electing our candidate again will ensure an NDA government in Bihar and at the Centre, allowing Bihar’s progress to accelerate further,” he said.
The video message comes a day after the NDA released its election manifesto, highlighting development, infrastructure, and social initiatives across the state.
