PM Modi Begins Mega Foreign Tour Covering 5 Nations in 6 Days
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun a six-day tour covering five nations to strengthen India’s global partnerships in trade, energy, technology, and strategic cooperation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a major six-day foreign tour covering five countries, aimed at strengthening India’s diplomatic, economic, and strategic partnerships across key global regions. The high-profile visit is expected to focus on energy security, trade cooperation, investment opportunities, and geopolitical coordination.
The tour includes visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Officials said the trip comes at a crucial time as India seeks to deepen ties with both Gulf nations and European partners amid global economic uncertainty and evolving geopolitical challenges.
The first stop of the visit is the UAE, where Prime Minister Modi is expected to hold bilateral talks with top leadership on energy cooperation, infrastructure investment, fintech, and trade expansion. The UAE remains one of India’s most important strategic and economic partners in the Gulf region.
In Europe, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend high-level meetings and discussions focused on climate cooperation, technology partnerships, renewable energy, defence collaboration, and supply chain resilience. Trade negotiations and investment opportunities are also expected to dominate talks during the tour.
Government officials stated that the visit reflects India’s growing global influence and its effort to strengthen strategic autonomy through diversified international partnerships. Several agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are likely to be signed during the trip.
Experts believe the tour could help India attract foreign investments while also boosting cooperation in sectors such as green energy, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and innovation.
The Prime Minister is also expected to interact with members of the Indian diaspora during parts of the tour, highlighting India’s expanding engagement with overseas communities.
The multi-nation visit is being closely watched internationally as India continues to position itself as a key global economic and diplomatic player.
