Murshidabad Train-School Van Collision Leaves Three Dead, Raises Fresh Railway Safety Concerns

A heartbreaking accident unfolded in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Friday morning after a passenger train collided with a school van at a railway level crossing, killing three people, including two schoolchildren and the van driver. According to initial reports, the school van was carrying children to school when it attempted to cross the railway tracks near the Karnasubarna railway crossing, located between Karnasubarna and Gobindapur railway stations in the Berhampore area of Murshidabad.
