Haryana Police Physical Test Notice 2026 Released — Exams From April 15

The announcement comes amid strong demand for police jobs in Haryana, with over 5,500 vacancies advertised for General Duty and GRP constable positions. The HSSC notice specifies all physical standards, including height, chest measurements (for male candidates), and running benchmarks for male, female, and ex-servicemen candidates.

“Candidates should ensure they meet the prescribed physical standards and complete all required formalities prior to the test date,” said an HSSC spokesperson. “Admit cards will be issued online shortly before the exam.”

The PMT/PST is a mandatory stage in the recruitment process, designed to assess candidates’ physical fitness, endurance, and suitability for policing duties. Successful candidates will move on to the final selection stage, which includes document verification and medical evaluation.

Experts note that this physical stage is critical, as it not only tests physical ability but also serves as a filter for discipline, agility, and readiness for field duties.

“Preparation is key — candidates should focus on running, strength exercises, and endurance training,” said Rakesh Malik, a former Haryana Police officer and recruitment trainer. “Physical fitness can make or break their chances at this stage.”

The HSSC has urged candidates to regularly check the official portal (hssc.gov.in) for updates and to download their admit cards once available. Any discrepancies in details, such as name or category, must be reported immediately to avoid delays during the physical test.

This announcement is part of Haryana’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its policing workforce, enhancing law enforcement capacity across the state. Candidates and coaching institutes are already gearing up for the tests, which are expected to see high attendance and participation.
