Google Searches, Poison Plan and Lohagad Push: Ketan Agrawal Murder Chargesheet Reveals Chilling Conspiracy

The Pune Ketan Agrawal murder case has taken another serious turn after police filed a 5,053-page chargesheet containing digital evidence, WhatsApp and social-media chats, call records, technical analysis and witness statements.

According to the chargesheet and police claims reported by Aaj Tak, investigators found online searches allegedly linked to different ways of harming Ketan. These reportedly included searches related to poisoning through food and mushrooms. Police are investigating whether these searches were connected to any separate attempt or part of the alleged murder plan. The exact connection between the searches and the crime will ultimately be determined through evidence and the court proceedings.

The investigation also reportedly found searches related to previous murder cases and deaths involving people falling from cliffs in the Lonavala region. Police have alleged that information from these cases was studied while the accused were planning the crime.

One of the cases mentioned in the chargesheet is the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. Investigators reportedly examined searches related to how that crime happened, how the investigation progressed and what clues helped police reach the accused. Searches concerning deaths at locations around Lonavala and Lohagad were also reportedly found.

The chargesheet also contains allegations about what happened after Ketan's death. Police claim that Sia Goel allegedly searched online, including through ChatGPT and other sources, for information about how to appear distressed and how to show grief in front of family members. Investigators say these searches became part of the digital evidence being examined in the case.

According to the police investigation, Ketan was taken to Lohagad Fort on June 18, 2026, where he allegedly fell into a gorge and died. The incident was initially treated as an accident, but subsequent investigation led police to allege that Ketan had been deliberately pushed.

The chargesheet reportedly states that the alleged murder plan involved Sia Goel, Chetan Chaudhary and Chetan's friend Ritesh Hange. Police have also alleged that an earlier attempt was made to arrange a contract killing, but that plan did not materialise. The investigation later focused on an alleged plan involving the accused themselves.

Digital evidence has emerged as a major part of the investigation. Police reportedly recovered deleted or relevant conversations from Instagram, WhatsApp and Snapchat, along with data from electronic devices. Investigators have also examined call records and other technical evidence.

Another reported revelation concerns a fake Instagram account named “Mahi”. According to the chargesheet, investigators allege that the account was created as part of a plan to bring Ketan to Lohagad under the pretext of a birthday surprise.

A witness has also reportedly given an account of what happened at Lohagad, claiming to have seen Chetan allegedly push Ketan toward the cliff after Sia was allegedly involved in the confrontation. The witness further claimed that he was threatened after questioning Chetan about the incident. These are allegations recorded in the investigation and remain subject to judicial scrutiny.

The chargesheet therefore presents a case built around digital evidence, alleged online searches, witness accounts and forensic material. However, the allegations contained in a police chargesheet are not the same as a judicial finding of guilt. The court will assess the evidence during the legal proceedings.

The Ketan Agrawal case has consequently moved from an initially reported fall at Lohagad to a detailed criminal investigation involving multiple accused and thousands of pages of evidence.
