The update has provided relief to thousands of medical aspirants waiting for clarity on the reimbursement process.
As per the official notice, students must log in to the portal using their application credentials to access the refund section. Candidates are required to enter accurate banking details, including the account holder’s name, bank account number and IFSC code, to ensure smooth processing of the refund.
The move follows recent developments related to the NEET UG 2026 examination, after authorities announced that eligible students would be refunded the examination fee already paid. Officials have also stated that candidates appearing in the re-examination process will not have to pay any fresh registration charges.
Experts have advised applicants to double-check all information before final submission, as errors in banking details could lead to delays in receiving the refund amount. The reimbursement will reportedly be transferred directly to the registered bank accounts after verification is completed by NTA.
