Nitin Nabin’s First Move as BJP President Signals Push for Poll Readiness and Long-Term Organisational Focus
Newly appointed BJP president Nitin Nabin has kicked off his tenure by naming election in-charges and setting the party on a poll-ready footing, emphasising sustained effort, youth engagement, and strong ideological commitment ahead of key state elections.
Soon after assuming charge as the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabin made his first strategic moves by appointing election in-charges for important upcoming polls, including the Kerala Assembly and civic elections, underscoring his immediate focus on electoral preparedness.
In his initial messages to party workers, Nabin stressed that politics is not a quick sprint but a long-distance marathon, urging cadres to commit to sustained grassroots work and disciplined organisational engagement rather than seeking short-term gains. He also highlighted the importance of drawing young people into active political roles, signalling a generational shift in the party’s leadership approach.
Beyond organisational strategy, Nabin reaffirmed the BJP’s ideological core, emphasising loyalty, hard work, and deep connection with voters as key to success in elections across states such as West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry. His message combines patience with urgency — preparing the party structurally while energising its base ahead of a critical electoral cycle.
