Constitution Day 2025: President Droupadi Murmu to Lead Historic Celebrations at Central Hall

President Droupadi Murmu will lead the nation in celebrating Constitution Day at the iconic Central Hall of the old Parliament building on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The event marks a tribute to the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly in 1949.
A special highlight of this year’s celebration is the digital launch of the Constitution of India in nine languages — Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia, and Assamese — prepared by the Legislative Department of the Union Law Ministry. This initiative aims to make the Constitution more accessible to citizens across linguistic communities.
Since its inception in 2015, Samvidhan Diwas has been observed annually on November 26 to honor the vision and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The Central Hall, with its rich history, serves as a fitting venue for this significant occasion, bringing together lawmakers, dignitaries, and citizens in reflection of India’s democratic ideals.
