The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has initiated one of the biggest recruitment drives of the year, announcing over 9,000 constable vacancies for eligible candidates across the country. The application process is set to begin later this month, offering opportunities in both technical and non-technical roles.

In another major update, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has released notifications for nearly 900 posts, including technical positions such as draughtsman, electrician, and storekeeper. These roles are aimed at strengthening infrastructure development in border areas.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has also launched its Phase 14 recruitment cycle, opening doors for candidates from 10th pass to graduate levels across various central government departments.

Meanwhile, the power sector PSU Coal India Limited’s subsidiary SECL has announced more than 1,000 vacancies for mining-related and technical posts, with applications opening shortly.

The banking sector is also active, with public sector banks such as Indian Bank releasing notifications for specialist officer and officer-level positions, targeting finance, IT, and management graduates.

Experts note that this recruitment surge reflects the government’s ongoing focus on strengthening defence capabilities, infrastructure development, and public sector workforce expansion.

Overall, April 2026 is shaping up to be a highly significant month for job seekers in India, particularly those aiming for stable careers in government and PSU sectors.
