The National Testing Agency has extended the last date for NEET UG 2026 fee refund submissions till June 22, giving relief to thousands of students across the country. The decision comes after many candidates reportedly faced technical problems and payment-related issues during the registration process.
According to the latest update, candidates who made duplicate payments, experienced failed transactions, or paid extra fees while filling out the NEET UG 2026 application form can now submit their refund requests within the extended deadline. Students who were unable to complete the process earlier will also get another chance to apply.
The NTA has advised candidates to carefully verify their payment details before submitting refund claims on the official NEET portal. Officials said that all applications will go through a verification process before refunds are processed and transferred to students’ bank accounts.
The extension is considered important because NEET UG counselling and admission procedures are expected to begin soon. Education experts have advised students to complete all pending formalities on time to avoid problems during the admission process.
