UP: Road Caves In Outside Lucknow University, Youth Falls Into 10-Foot-Deep Pit With Bike

A frightening incident was reported from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, after heavy rainfall caused a section of road near Lucknow University to suddenly cave in.

The collapse created a massive crater estimated to be around 10 to 12 feet deep and wide, posing a serious danger to pedestrians and motorists.

Youth Falls Into Pit With Motorcycle

A young man travelling on a motorcycle reportedly fell into the deep crater after the road gave way. The sudden collapse left people in the area alarmed, with bystanders gathering at the spot.

The incident also highlighted the dangers posed by damaged roads during periods of heavy rainfall.

Police and Municipal Teams Reach Spot

As soon as authorities were informed, police and municipal teams reached the location.

Municipal workers began assessing the situation and worked to remove the motorcycle from the deep pit. A municipal vehicle was also seen at the site.

Road Closed After Collapse

Given the size and depth of the crater, the affected stretch of road was closed to traffic to prevent further accidents.

Officials and workers were deployed at the location while measures were taken to secure the area and assess the damage.
