A fresh political controversy has erupted over allegations linked to the CBSE Physics examination evaluation process, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacking the central government and accusing it of ignoring the concerns of students across the country.

The issue gained momentum after several students and parents claimed that Physics answer sheets were either incorrectly evaluated or allegedly altered during the assessment process. Many students expressed shock over unexpectedly low scores despite claiming they had performed well in the examination.

As complaints spread rapidly on social media, students began demanding transparency in the evaluation process along with proper rechecking mechanisms. Some users also alleged discrepancies between expected marks and final results, triggering wider debate around the reliability of the examination system.

Reacting to the controversy, Rahul Gandhi said India’s younger generation, particularly Gen-Z students, would no longer remain silent against what he described as “arrogance” and “system failure.” He stated that students deserve fairness, transparency, and accountability from institutions responsible for their academic future.

The Congress leader further argued that repeated concerns raised by students over competitive examinations and board evaluations reflected growing frustration among the youth. He urged authorities to conduct a transparent review of the complaints and ensure justice for affected students.

Meanwhile, Central Board of Secondary Education officials have not officially confirmed allegations of answer sheet tampering but have advised students to follow the standard verification and re-evaluation process if they believe discrepancies exist in their marks.

Education experts say controversies involving board examinations often create significant stress for students and families, especially in highly competitive academic environments where marks play a crucial role in college admissions and career opportunities.

The issue has now evolved beyond an academic debate and entered the political arena, with opposition parties questioning the credibility of examination systems while the government maintains that due procedures are already in place for grievance redressal.

The controversy continues to generate intense discussion online, with thousands of students sharing their experiences and demanding greater transparency in India’s education and evaluation process.
