According to government officials, the proposed stadium will be built in Darjeeling district and equipped with modern training facilities, spectator stands, and practice nets to promote women’s cricket and nurture local talent in North Bengal.

Sports analysts hailed the move as a landmark step in strengthening the sports infrastructure of the region and encouraging more young girls to take up cricket professionally.
