According to an NIA statement, the four accused were taken into custody from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttar Pradesh under production orders from the District Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court. The arrested individuals have been identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai, Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather, and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay from Jammu and Kashmir, and Dr. Shaheen Saeed from Uttar Pradesh.

The NIA said interrogation of the previously arrested suspects is ongoing as part of its efforts to unravel the full extent of the terror conspiracy. The agency, tasked with the investigation by the Home Ministry shortly after the attack, is coordinating with state police forces to identify and apprehend all members of the terrorist module involved.

The arrests mark a significant development in the probe into the high-profile attack at Delhi’s historic Red Fort, which has drawn nationwide attention and prompted intensified anti-terror measures.

The NIA assured that the investigation is continuing with “full vigour” to ensure all perpetrators are brought to justice.
