Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has recommended that Ruturaj Gaikwad be considered as a replacement for Shubman Gill if the Indian batter is unable to participate in the upcoming Guwahati Test.
Chopra highlighted Gaikwad’s excellent form, noting that he has been scoring consistently for India A in white-ball cricket, making him a strong contender to step into the side if required.
