Delhi on High Alert Ahead of August 15, Posters of 19 Most-Wanted Terrorists Released

Delhi has been placed on high alert ahead of Independence Day on August 15, with security agencies stepping up surveillance across the national capital amid concerns over possible terrorist threats. As part of the heightened security measures, Delhi Police has publicly released posters featuring 19 most-wanted terrorists.

The posters reportedly include individuals associated with several terror organisations, including Indian Mujahideen, Al-Qaeda and different Khalistani terrorist outfits. The posters carry photographs and identifying details of the suspects in an effort to help authorities gather information about their whereabouts.

Among the names included in the most-wanted list are Ranjit Singh alias Neeta and Paramjit Singh Pamma, who are linked to the Khalistan Zindabad Force. Suspects associated with the Khalistan Tiger Force have also been included in the list.

Security has been intensified across Delhi ahead of August 15, when large gatherings are expected at important locations across the city. The Red Fort, where the Independence Day celebrations are held, remains one of the key security-sensitive locations. Railway stations, metro stations, markets and other crowded public places are also under increased surveillance.
