Faridabad Man Arrested for Sheltering Red Fort Suicide Bomber: NIA Investigation Ongoing

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a man from Faridabad for allegedly providing shelter and logistical support to Umar Un Nabi, the suicide bomber behind the deadly Red Fort car explosion on November 10, which claimed multiple lives and left many injured.
The arrested individual, identified as Soyab from Dhauj in Faridabad, is the seventh person taken into custody in connection with the attack. Investigators say Soyab helped the bomber with accommodation and other key arrangements in the days leading up to the explosion. A senior NIA official stated, “We are verifying the nature of assistance he provided and how closely he was involved with the bomber.”
Prior to Soyab’s arrest, six others had already been detained for facilitating the bomber’s movements, communications, or logistical needs. The NIA, in coordination with police teams across multiple states, is conducting extensive searches, examining phone records, call data, and travel routes to uncover the full network behind the attack.
Officials warned that the investigation is far from over, with more arrests expected as authorities work to dismantle the larger group that may have supported Umar Un Nabi. The NIA emphasized the importance of tracing every connection to ensure accountability for the November 10 tragedy.
