High-Level Investigation Ordered After IED Explosions Near Military Zones in Punjab

Punjab security agencies have launched an extensive investigation after suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasts were reported near a Border Security Force (BSF) headquarters and an Army camp, triggering fresh concerns over security in the border state.

According to preliminary reports, the explosions occurred late Tuesday night in separate locations situated close to sensitive military and paramilitary facilities. While no casualties were immediately reported, the incidents prompted authorities to seal off the affected areas and deploy bomb disposal squads, forensic teams, and additional security personnel.
