PhonePe Users Can Now Ask ChatGPT Before Making Payments: Key Changes Explained
Bengaluru, November 2025 — PhonePe has announced the integration of ChatGPT-powered tools across its consumer and business apps, offering users AI assistance before making payments. The new feature is designed to streamline decision-making, helping users with tasks such as travel planning, product comparison, and finding suitable options—all within the app.
The company emphasized that the full ChatGPT interface will not appear in the app. Instead, specific AI functions will guide users through relevant tasks, ensuring a seamless experience without switching to other platforms.
“This integration aims to make PhonePe a one-stop platform for payments and informed decision-making,” said a company spokesperson. Users can now rely on AI insights to choose products, compare prices, or plan purchases, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
