PM Modi Begins Three-Day State Visit to Seychelles, Set to Attend National Day Celebrations

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday embarked on a three-day State Visit to the Republic of Seychelles, marking another significant chapter in India's diplomatic engagement with the Indian Ocean island nation. The visit comes at the invitation of Seychelles President Patrick Herminie, with PM Modi attending the country's Golden Jubilee National Day celebrations as the Guest of Honour.

The high-profile visit is expected to reinforce India's strategic partnership with Seychelles while strengthening cooperation in areas such as maritime security, defence, trade, infrastructure, healthcare, climate resilience, and the blue economy.
