Dubai, UAE – Days after a tragic incident at the Dubai Airshow, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has confirmed that the crash of the Indian Tejas fighter jet was an “isolated occurrence.” The statement comes following the death of Wing Commander Namansh Syal during a daring aerial display on Friday.

According to a Reuters report, HAL described the crash as a result of “exceptional circumstances,” though no further technical details have been released.
