Farrhana Bhatt’s Family Sends Legal Notice to Amaal Mallik’s Aunt Over Defamatory Comments
Mumbai, November 6: The drama from Bigg Boss 19 has now spilled outside the house, as Farrhana Bhatt’s family has sent a legal notice to Amaal Mallik’s aunt, Roshan Garry Bhinder, for allegedly calling Farrhana a “terrorist” in a recent interview. The family is seeking ₹1 crore in damages for reputational and emotional harm.
Legal Action Against Defamation
Farrhana’s family confirmed the move on social media, stating that they opted for a legal route rather than responding with online arguments. The notice also demands the immediate removal of the interview video, a public apology, and copies have been shared with the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission.
A statement from the family’s lawyer read:
“The family has chosen to respond with dignity and legal recourse, rather than stoop to mudslinging and online provocation. The defamatory remarks have caused deep distress, and appropriate action is being taken.”
Controversial Comments
Roshan Garry Bhinder, in an interview with the Fifafooz YouTube channel, described Farrhana using harsh words:
“Evil. Terrorist. I’m sorry, I don’t want to say this. But she’s like a demon who laughs after harming people.”
These remarks have triggered the legal notice, escalating tensions around the popular reality show.
Bigg Boss 19 Context
Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, premiered on 24 August with 18 housemates. Farrhana was initially evicted on day one but sent to a secret room and returned to the house on day six. Over the course of the show, seven housemates have been evicted, and one has voluntarily exited.
The latest development underscores how conflicts from the Bigg Boss house continue to create headlines beyond television.
